Does Scott Frost get any credit for the defense?

I know for the most part he leaves Chins and the gang to do their thing, but isn’t that what good coaches do? Hire good assistants and let them do their job.

People are wanting Verdu and Austin fired, and they’re putting their performance on Frost. But at the same time they aren’t giving Frost any credit for the improvements on the other side of the ball, even if it is truly just hiring the right guys and staying out of it.

I’ve been more impressed with our defense than any unit since….. 09? And all three levels of the defense are playing well and have depth.
