Corn Flakes: What Are You Most Excited About This Coming Football Season?

There are so many questions…. what are you excited about?

Some guy calls me on Sunday, and he says he’s driving and bored, and could I please entertain him for a bit. What am I, a call girl?

Anyway, I asked him, “What are you most excited about for this upcoming football season?”

He doesn’t answer. I do. I am excited about pulling guards. This excites me more than anything else about the season. Last season we had a center who didn’t even appear to try blocking at some times. Because of that – the idea that the interior of our run game would collapse before the play even started – we didn’t have much of a ground game. This year things should be different. We should be able to pull guards. Having a pulling guard makes your offense much more potent. It makes your offense way more potent than most people realize.
