Bácskay Advances to Team Finals at European Championships



Incoming Nebraska gymnast Csenge Bácskay advanced to the team finals after day one of the European Championships in Munich, Germany. 

Bácskay added a 13.200 on vault and a 11.133 on balance beam to help Team Hungary to a seventh-place finish in the team competition. The top eight teams advanced to Team Finals which will take place on Saturday, August 13 at 7 a.m. (CT).

Bácskay finished in ninth place on vault and will be the first alternate for the event finals on Sunday, August 14 at 7:30 a.m. (CT).
