Adams-Woods Reopens his Recruitment

According to syracuse.com, Nebraska 2019 signee Mika Adams-Woods has reopened his recruitment, requesting a release from his NLI.

The 6-foot-3 guard committed to Nebraska back in September of 2018.  Since then however, former head coach Tim Miles has been fired, causing Adams-Woods to reconsider his commitment.

Despite the fact that he has reopened his recruitment, Adams-Woods is still reportedly interested in the Huskers, according to the article. He is considering his other school options, which include Providence, among a handful of other universities.

Adams-Woods has spent the past two seasons at New Hampton School in New Hampshire. This past year, he averaged 19 points per game and shot 42.5% from beyond the arc, according to syracuse.com.

During his introductory press conference, new Husker basketball head coach Fred Hoiberg said he planned to meet with all three of the Husker’s 2019 commits, Jervay Green, Akol Arop, and Adams-Woods in the coming days.
