12 Nebraska men’s gymnasts were named All-America Scholar-Athletes announced the College Gymnastics Association.
Jake Bonnay, Taylor Christopulos, Chris Hiser, Dillan King, Moritz Mueller, Sam Phillips and Dylan Young earned first-team All-America Scholar-Athlete honors. CGA honored 97 individual gymnasts as 2022 first-team All-America Scholar-Athletes in men’s gymnastics for attaining a 3.50 grade point average or higher.
Liam Doherty-Herwitz, Cooper Giles, Evan Kriley, Khalil Jackson and Dylan LeClair were named second-team All-America Scholar-Athletes. CGA named 41 second-team All-America Scholar-Athletes for attaining a grade point average between 3.2 and 3.499.
Stanford received the team award with the highest grade point average among men’s gymnastics programs with a 3.533. Nebraska finished in the top ten with a team grade point average of 3.170.
The College Gymnastics Association has also honored a total of 138 total individual gymnasts as 2022 First and Second Team All-America Scholar-Athletes.
