Why not let Chinander finish out the year as coach?

It all feels really premature to me to get rid of a head coach after a week 0 game. But I seriously don’t know, after watching the previous three seasons and yesterday’s game, what does Frost bring to the table. He’s supposed to be an offensive mind, and the offense is horrible. He’s obviously not making a difference as a game manager. Why not let one of the assistants finish out the year as head coach? In my mind, we should promote an assistant to the job as an “audition” for the head job. It’s undeniable the difference Chinander has had on the defense, and it’s not hard seeing him being a head coach one day. Why not see if the team will rally around him like LSU did around Ed O? I don’t think all hope should be lost on the season, this is still a team with quite a bit of experience and talent, especially on defense.

I don’t know though, maybe I’m just a negative fan and need to sit down and let the season play out. I’m just so bored of watching the same thing play out week after week.
