On Sunday, news broke that the Los Angeles Rams have hired former Nebraska head coach Scott Frost as a senior football analyst. Frost will hold a variety of staff roles, including special teams, where the Rams currently have a vacancy.
This is the first job he has had in football since being fired by Nebraska on September 11, 2022. The 2022 season was one of change for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. The Huskers finished the season 4-8 overall and 3-6 in the Big Ten Conference.
Frost was fired three games into the year; defensive coordinator Erik Chinander was relieved of his duties the following week.
The Big Ten media predicted Nebraska would finish fifth in the Big Ten West, but they actually finished sixth. The highlight of the season was a 24-17 victory over Iowa in the season finale.
Following the victory, Matt Rhule was hired as head coach, and he retained only offensive line coach Donovan Raiola.
Scott Frost – Head Coach
Frost coached at Nebraska from 2018-2022 but was dismissed three games into his final season. He ended his Nebraska coaching career with a record of 16-31. The Los Angeles Rams hired the former quarterback as a senior football analyst.

After a successful playing career at Nebraska (1988-91), Joseph returned to Lincoln in 2022 as the assistant head coach and wide receivers coach.
