When and where to watch Nebraska football vs. UTEP

For the first time since 2019, Nebraska football opens its season at home against a non-Power Four opponent.

The Huskers will take on UTEP in Lincoln on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The game will be televised on Fox.

The National Weather Service projects the forecast to be sunny with a high near 85 degrees on gameday.

Nebraska finished last season 5-7, missing a bowl game for the seventh straight year. The Huskers are aiming to snap that streak this season, starting with the Miners. It is the first of four straight home games for NU.

UTEP is coming off a 3-9 season, which ended with the firing of coach Dana Dimel. Former Austin Peay coach Scotty Walden replaced Dimel last December.

Saturday will be the first matchup between Nebraska and UTEP.
