What is the minimum the Men and Women teams need to accomplish to clinch a bid to the tourney?

* The Men have 6 remaining games. As of today they have 1 Quad 1 opponent (@Ohio St), 2 Quad 2 opponents (@ Indiana and @ Michigan), and 1 Quad 3 opponent (vs Penn St on Saturday).
* My thoughts:
* 5-1 or better and they’re in regardless of what happens in the Big 10 tourney
* 4-2: probably in, but need a win in the tourney to feel good on selection Sunday
* 3-3: Probably out unless we win 2 games in the tourney
* 2-4: probably out unless we get the semis or at least the finals of the big 10 tourney
* 1-5 or worse: probably need to win the big 10 tourney.

* The women’s path seems much clearer. With only 4 games left and a NET ranking in the 30s, they are bordering on lock territory.
* 2-2 or better: they’re in regardless of what happens in the big 10 tourney
* 1-3: unless they losed to quad 4 Northwestern, probably in regardless, but a win in the big 10 tourney is needed to feel comfortable
* 0-4: proably need to make it to the tourney semis or finals.

* My prediction
* The Men go 4-2. They beat Penn St, Minn, and Rutgers at home and Michigan on the road, but fall to Indiana and Ohio St on the road. They win 1 game in the Big 10 tourney and make it as a 11 seed
* The women go 3-1, only slipping up on the road to Illinois. The win 2 games in the Big 10 tourney and get a 7 seed in the tourney.

What is everyone else’s thoughts?
