UTEP has 65 new players on its 115-player roster, with many of the projected starters making the step up from the second-level Football Championship Subdivision to the higher FBS. That level doesn’t get much higher than Nebraska’s Big 10.

The Cornhuskers, by contrast, bring in a veteran team looking to build on a 5-7 2023 that teased big things to come. For both teams, things will start Saturday in Lincoln.
