What are the reasons to believe Frost will turn this around? Without positively speculating on some undefinable development?

12-20 overall. 0-8 against ranked opponents. 9-11 against unranked P5 opponents. Offense has trended downwards yearly. The team is still undisciplined. He is still blaming the previous staff which feels odd.

Essentially without assuming he will magically mature as a coach or Adrian/Luke will completely buck their trends. Essentially where are the real tangible trends and identifiable things that should actually pay dividends and are not merely hope.

Statistics and facts are the way to try to convince someone. So let’s try some. Frost has one winning season as a coach. Frost has never built a program. Despite an undefeated season, Frost’s career record is 31-27 (0.534). At Nebraska, he is 12-20 (0.375). If you had to ask me, it seems more likely that a coach that begins with three winless seasons is fairly unlikely to turn it around.

If we want to talk about some intangible things, let’s also look there. Why is Frost blaming things like the previous staff, clapping and tv timeouts in year three? I would recommend watching Schiano’s post-game after we beat them. No casting blame on players or calling out the previous staff or stupid conspiracy shit like clapping, it’s a wildly more mature interview than we have seen from Frost post-loss, and that is year one there.
