Sunday was scrimmage day for Nebraska football as the Huskers held their ninth practice of preseason camp.
The session was closed to the public and the media, but the athletic department provided some glimpses of the action by releasing this video on social media.
Notable ongoing position battles include the running back spot and the No. 2 quarterback job behind Adrian Martinez. It appeared true freshman running back Gabe Ervin Jr. had a touchdown run of considerable distance
The team will have Monday off and then return to practice Tuesday in preparation for the Aug. 28th opener at Illinois.
