UNL Football – My Predictions

What a rollercoaster of a year so far. We have a better team than we’ve had in a while, but Martinez still has an off-game every other week. Our defense is nationally recognized as elite, but apparently not against Illinois or Minnesota… I think we need to come out of the gate on 10/30 against Purdue and stop their powerhouse offense with our bulked defense. Teddy Prochazka being hurt doesn’t help our offense too much, and Yant playing like a 14U football player against better opponents just sucks. I hope we clean up Purdue, after their big win against Iowa, then kill Wisconsin for the first time in years, and then put up fights against Ohio State & Iowa. We need a spark asap. We may not make a bowl game this year, but we have to finish better in the B10 than we normally do. Next year, I hope Adrian doesn’t come back. It seems like the fans dislike him, just like I do too. It seems like we’re happy with him for all of 3 games per year. I hope we get a new kicker too. Carson Crouch (Eric Crouch’s son) who is graduating from Elkhorn South High School this year hasn’t missed a PAT or a FG closer than 40 yds this year. We need him. Go Big Red, but it seems like we lost our magic right now.
