University Of Nebraska Officials Speak Out Against Senate Letter Claiming Anti-Conservative Bias at University

This week, Sate senators Tom Brewer, Steve Erdman and Steve Halloran wrote a letter to the media questioning whether the University of Nebraska is biased against conservative students. The op-ed came after reports that a faculty member that took part in the now infamous harassment of conservative UNL student  Kaitlyn Mullen was still teaching at the university.

University of Nebraska President Hank Bounds, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Chancellor Ronnie Green, and Board of Regents Member Tim Clair tell Coby Mach on Drive Time Lincoln they’re doing everything he can to combat bias at the university and warns against smearing the entire university over an isolated incident.

President Bounds says all those at fault in the incident have been dealt with and goes on to say all staff at the university care for the well-being of students, and to suggest anything else is “completely improper.”

Furthermore, the group states that the letter from the senators was full of inaccuracies.
