Nebraska softball placed three players on the All-Big Ten first team, highlighting a bevy of honors for the Huskers.
Shortstop Billie Andrews, centerfielder Brooke Andrews and second baseman Katelyn Caneda all made the team. Caneda was also named to the all-freshman and all-defensive teams after hitting .382 and starting every game in conference play.
Billie Andrews has now made an all-conference team in all three seasons she’s played for Nebraska. She was on the first team in 2021 and second team in 2022. The junior led the Huskers with 15 home runs in the regular season and hit .366.
Brooke Andrews was honored for the first time, the result of a breakout season in which hit .340 with 11 homers. She and Billie are the second set of Nebraska sisters to make the first team in the same year; Tatum and Taylor Edwards did it in 2013 and 2014.
