Top Coaching Options If the worst happens?

So i have been thinking about this over the past few weeks, if the worst happens and Scott gets fired. ( I think if it happens it will be sometime in November) Who do you think would be our top realistic choices? I will go first, I only have 2 because I think that Campbell isn’t realist with that new contract he signed I would be an actual nightmare to try and get him from Iowa State. So with that being said in no particular order I think this is who I think

Huge Freeze- I can see it now first comes the frost and then the freeze tee shirts on campus now. lol But seriously, He did a fantastic job while he was at Ole Miss. His recruiting classes while he was there were ranked as follows 2012 (his first year) 40 overall 2013- 7th Overall include at least 3 draft picks 2014- 19th Overall 2015- 21st at least 2 draft picks and 2016- 7th Overall including NFL stars like DK Metcalf and AJ Brown Very Long story short he can recruit. His overall record while at ole miss was 39-25 not amazing but a bowl game every year except for one and one of the few coaches to beat Alabama in back to back years. He’s now with liberty and I know the competition isn’t the SEC but he has turned them around almost immediately. Currently his record is 20-6 including 2 bowl games. Obviously the huge negative here is all of the allegations while at Ole Miss and that might be a huge red flag for the search committee but personally I think its in the past.

Luke Fickell- So this one is a little more straightforward to me at least he is a Big Ten guy and has coached at Ohio State in various role successfully. A defensive minded coach that has had success recruiting kids to the Big Ten. i know i know its super easy to recruit to Ohio State, But there is still something to be said about getting kids to Columbus. He knows the Big Ten and understands how to coach and recruit in the conference. While at Cincinnati he has been very successful as a coach over all recruiting hasn’t been amazing only cracking the top 50 one time since he took over, but I think that speaks to his coaching and development even more. Despite not having amazing recruiting class he as managed to go 37-14 including 3 bowl games (1 NY6 bowl). I believe he could get the job done in similar fashion in Lincoln with a much easier recruiting pitch.

Just interested to see what you guys think might be other coaching options.
