The status of cornerback Tommi Hill will be a game-time decision based on the senior’s pain threshold with his foot injury, Nebraska coach Matt Rhule said on Thursday.
If he can’t go, USC transfer Ceyair Wright will handle the majority of snaps after relieving Hill last week.
Another potential corner option, Blye Hill, is not a redshirt candidate, Rhule said. NU is preparing him to play coming off his spring injury, whether that’s this week or next month.
Forecasted wet and windy conditions in West Lafayette, Indiana, could turn the game into a more run-heavy contest.
