Thursday Flakes: Cooking Classes, Flight Refunds and Waterfalls

Spring break trips are winding down and now we are looking at Memorial Day Weekend as we kick off the summer. I’m be making a quick trip back to the United States next month to see my niece in Ohio and my uncle in Virginia.

Lots of big news to discuss in the travel world including the government ensuring that airplane passengers are entitled to automatic refunds if flights are cancelled. This something that has been happening in Europe for a while and I’m glad this law is finally being put into place here.

The spring game is happening this weekend and Husker nation will get their first look at Dylan Raiola. Exciting times ahead.

Strand, a sophomore from Challis, Idaho, will compete as one of six individuals at the Cle Elum Regional at the Tumble Creek Club in Washington (May 6-8). Strand closed the regular season at No. 98 in the Scoreboard national rankings. She carries a school-record 71.17 stroke average through 29 rounds this season. Strand owns eight top-25 finishes on the season, including four top-10 showings.
