Thursday Flakes: A Tribute to Johnny, Playoff Baseball and More

As a long time (suffering) Calgary Flames fan, I was devastated when I learned of Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew’s passing. My favorite shirt is a Gaudreau Flames shirt. I wear it every home game Calgary has. As the Flames got their season underway Wednesday night, there was a tribute for the Gaudreau brothers. Even though they were on the road, the tribute was very touching. It’s good to have hockey back, as it now adds to another sports season I get to follow. The only downside is…Calgary is going to suck something awful. Oh well…onto the flakes.
