These last few days have been a whirlwind and I hate to say it but The Portal and NIL have ruined the game.

Anyone born before the 2000s knows the transfer portal and NIL deals didn’t exist. You committed to a school, played for that school and went on with you’re life. I’m one of probably several people that HATES the way recruiting operates now.

Kids now are so entitled to things its not even funny. There’s no such thing as loyalty to the school that recruited you for x number of years. “If I don’t get the starting job that’s okay fuck these guys I’ll just jump in the portal”

And don’t even get me started on NIL. “You don’t pay me what I want I won’t even consider you I don’t care how good you’re program ls.”

Point is Kids used to want to play for the schools. They knew where they wanted to go and they stuck for the four or five years the ncaa allows. Now its just a place to make a quick buck. This isn’t what football was ever supposed to be save that shit for the pros.
