I’m sure this has been discussed before but in an election year let’s discuss some change we should all get behind…
Herbie’s appearance was changed for the 2003 season. While UNL has gone scorched earth to rid us of all things Pederson the one glaring reminder is “new” Herbie. Since 2003 we have slipped further and further to mediocrity which is what good ol’ Steve was trying to avoid. In a series of changes to “update” our program Steve changed Herbie to our modern era jeans wearin’ brunette hulk.
I say we need to bring the REAL Herbie back to break the Curse of Herbie or more rightfully the Curse of Steve Pederson! Who’s with me?
