The Bird Poop Thief Strikes Again

Two customers at HyVee at 5010 O Street report coming out of the store at different times early Sunday night and feeling something wet on their heads. A nearby unknown man told them in broken English it was bird poop and offered to help them clean off the substance with a paper towel. Later, one of the victims discovered the man had taken his wallet and used his credit card at various local stores. The other victim got suspicous and told him she didn’t want his help.

A similar ploy was pulled earlier Sunday on a man exiting Russ’s Market at 66th and “O”.. That victim discovered his chain necklace was missing….and the discovered substance on his clothing was actually a green slime.
