The 12-Step Scred Froiberst Method

**Step 1:** Come to Lincoln with a reputation as an offensive genius.

**Step 2:** “This is going to be a process.” “We’re not going to turn this around overnight.”

**Step 3:** Lose…a lot.

**Step 4:** Tantalize fans with better than usual recruiting classes. Sit back and watch the Nebraska media hype circus work its magic with every new “stud”.

**Step 5:** Keep Losing. Blame lack of progress on previous staff.

**Step 6:** “We’re getting closer to where we need to be. We’re going to be very competitive this year.”

**Step 7:** Manage roster as a revolving door of transfer portal departures and arrivals. Sit back and watch the Nebraska media hype circus work its magic with every new “star”.

**Step 8:** Lose.

**Step 9:** Sometimes build big leads, or play surprisingly close with highly ranked teams. But in the end, always lose.

**Step 10:** “I love this team. We’re so close!”

**Step 11:** Lose.

**Step 12:** Lose, with the “ingenious” offense looking more confused and disjointed with each passing game.
