Super Regional

Happy Monday fellow true believers! Want to ask a question I’m confused about. And apologies for being out on the ski’s with this question! All that truly matters is win the next one…

I’ve seen mentions/assumptions that Nebraska would host the Super Regional if they win tonight, and I do not believe that is right. If I understand the seeding correctly, the Fayetteville regional had the following seeding –

1 – Arkansas

32 – Nebraska (bullshit)

33 – Northeastern

64 – NJIT

So, wouldn’t that mean that NC State would host the Super Regional because they were a higher #2 seed than Nebraska? Or do they re-seed after the regional based on performance, where Nebraska could host if they knock of #1 tonight?

Edit: Answer is that the NCAA is not allowing different bids for Super Regionals this year, so it will be one of the 16 regional sites, likely Fayetteville again.
