So we didn’t want to play OU, who cares?

I don’t understand the uproar with us reportedly trying to change the schedule. CFB is all about recruiting. The teams that market themselves the best will have a much bigger advantage when it comes to recruiting. Getting SMOKED by an opposing team with an immense talent advantage every year is not exactly a great way to “rebuild a brand.” We’re not competing for a playoff spot, we’re not getting paid to play them so there’s no reason for us to subject ourselves to another beat down on NATIONAL TV. Yeah we look soft as a program but which outcome would suit us better as a program, we beat South Alabama 30-13 or we lose to OU 63-7?
