Dominick Serrano was honored as a Second Team All-American after finishing his prep career with four state titles, an unblemished 168-0 record and 122 victories by fall. The Windsor, Colo., native was also named to Wrestling USA Magazine’s Dream Team back in May. Serrano earned Junior National Freestyle and Cadet National Freestyle championships outside of high school competition and projects as a 133-pounder for the Huskers.

Silas Allred was selected as a Third Team All-American after completing a prep career which included two state titles and a 146-2 record (with 138 victories by fall) while achieving a 4.317 GPA at Shenadoah High School in Muncie, Ind. Allred, who was also named to Wrestling USA Magazine’s Academic All-America Team in May, projects as a 197-pounder for NU.

Allred and Serrano are members of a select group: The 42 AWN All-Americans were chosen from a pool of more than 250,000 athletes from more than 10,000 high schools across the country which sponsor wrestling programs.
