Season opener woes turn around for a hot start Huskers in 2024?

I know this isn’t breaking news but just mind boggling the season starts we’ve had since Riley took over— Loss to BYU at home.

Nebraska will play a home opener for the first time in 5 years. Also will play a non-conference opponent in the opener for the first time since 2019. Frost got his home opener cancelled due to weather, so we go to Colorado and piss that game away. Covid changes the schedule to @ Ohio St in 2020. We decide to play in Ireland in 22’ and piss another game away. Fumble away the game at Minnesota last year.

It will be nice to open with UTEP at home followed by three more home games. Get an average Purdue on the road then back at home with a testy Rutgers. UCLA who has a new staff and an overdue win vs Wisconsin. Protect Memorial and the wins will come.
