Former Nebraska football coach Scott Frost is expected to join the Los Angeles Rams’ coaching staff as a senior football analyst, according to a report from ESPN.
Frost had been out of coaching since he was fired two years ago as NU’s leader. Frost received a nearly $16 million payout upon his firing after the Huskers’ Sept. 10, 2022 loss to Georgia Southern. He and his family eventually relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona.
In an interview with CBS Sports earlier this year, he expressed interest in a return to coaching.
“I’m dying to get back in,” Frost said in that interview.
He joins one of the top current franchises in the NFL. Under coach Sean McVay, Los Angeles has averaged 10 wins over the last seven seasons and played in two Super Bowls, winning the Super Bowl in 2022 over the Bengals.
