It is difficult to beat any football team when you lose the turnover battle by five. Last year against Nebraska turned the ball over five times. Illinois had zero.
It actually could have been worse.
In the game against Illinois, Luke McCaffrey threw three interceptions. Fumbled it three times but only lost one. While Wan’Dale Robinson fumbled it once and lost it.
I forgot how bad that game was when it came to ball security. So so so bad.
I still don’t know what to expect tomorrow but I sure hope five turnovers by Nebraska is not on the docket.

Maria Taylor bolted Bristol for NBC right after the NBA Finals and Wednesday, ESPN announced that it had canceled Nichols’s daily afternoon show The Jump and that Nichols would no longer be part of its NBA coverage.
Throughout this saga, it’s been hard to imagine how ESPN could’ve handled things any more poorly. And yesterday was the icing on the cake.
Still tickets to move if Huskers are to keep sellout streak alive
