Scott Frost Day News: Rules and Oklahoma

I feel like this year I am learning about so many rules that I didn’t realize before. The one that perplexed me last week was the missing helmet rule.

I did know that you are supposed to stop playing if you lose your helmet, but the fact that it’s a personal foul if you don’t seems ridiculous to me. I could see a five yard penalty on this, but fifteen yards and a first down is ridiculous.

Ok, now that I’ve vented about that, let’s look ahead to Oklahoma. Call me a glutton for punishment, but I’m excited to see what happens. As much as I am trying to wrap my head around the reality of what the Husker team has shown us, I always have the “what ifs”. So, while I am probably going to be disappointed this week, I will still cling on to those little pieces of hope and maybe it won’t be so bad.
