Question for the knowledgable – what’s different?

Hi guys, I know a lot of you follow football pretty closely and know Scott Frost’s career well, and know about X’s and O’s, personnel, and the general football landscape. Personally, I don’t know much, I just follow the results, but I have a question for someone who can tell me. **Why is what worked at UCF not working here so far?**

* Were the defenses UCF played bad? What about Auburn?
* Was UCF more talented, or better conditioned thanks to Duval, on average compared to their opponents? What about Auburn? Were they physically outmatched vs Auburn but played around it to their strengths? Did Auburn not have a good defense?
* Did Scott playcall differently? Is this current team executing as well as UCF? I have heard people complain about the team not executing well and that reflecting on the coaching.
* Are Big 10 coaches just better and have figured out Scott’s offense? Did this happen at Oregon or UCF?
* I’ve seen people complain about the playcalling and general decision making and game management. Was his playcalling better at Oregon and UCF, or did they execute better? Why the difference here? Or is it the same?
* I’ve seen a lot of people complain about Verduzco. I guess they’re saying he hasn’t helped Adrian or Luke at all. Wondering what his story is, was he a great QB coach earlier in his career? He seems old, like he’s had a long career coaching at this point. Is this just a bad 3 years in an otherwise excellent career with QB’s?

I can give more questions, but I’ll stop. **Basically I’m looking for a tangible reason why things are different here for Frost**, it seems like he’s had a lot of success in his career to this point.
