QB development

With all the talk of QB development I decided to see what Rhule could do when he has a QB he recruited and developed. So I took Charlie Brewer, PJ Walker and compared them against Adrian Martinez.
—————————————————————————–
Charlie Brewer, Baylor

9700 yards passing

63.5 completion percentage

7.4 YPA

65 TDs 28 ints

Rushing yards 1039 rushing TDs 22

Total TDs 87. Total turnovers not including fumbles 28

—————————————————————————-

Adrian Martinez, Nebraska

8491 yards passing

63.5 completion percentage

8.0 YPA

45 TD 35 ints

Rushing yards 2290 rushing TDs 35.

Total TDs 80. Total turnovers not including fumbles 45.
—————————————————————————-

P.J. Walker, Temple

56.9 completion percentage

10668 yards passing

7.3 YPA

74 TDs 44 Ints

Rushing Yards 771 Rushing TDs 9

Total TDs 83 Total turnovers not including fumbles 44
——————————————————————————

Walker: 1.8:1 TD to turnover ratio

Martinez: 1.7:1 TD to turnover ratio

Brewer: 3.1:1 TD to turnover ratio.

Over the course of 4 years for all players.

This only includes Brewer’s time at Baylor, AM2’s time at Nebraska and Walkers time at Temple. Does not include fumbles currently.

This is more to evaluate Rhule’s ability to identify QB talent. Expect one for Satterfield for places he’s been OC/QB coach.
