11 former Huskers saw action in the sixth week of the NFL season last weekend.

 

Cethan Carter was targeted once vs. Jacksonville in London, making an eight-yard reception. On the defensive side, Randy Gregory totaled three solo tackles, two quarterback hurries, a tackle for loss and a forced fumble for the Dallas defense.

 

A trio of former Huskers had a strong impact in special teams last weekend. Minnesota’s Ameer Abdullah had two kickoff returns for a total of 68 yards in a 34-28 road win at Carolina. Luke Gifford blocked a punt and recovered the blocked punt in Dallas’ 35-29 overtime victory at New England.

Sam Koch punted two times for a total of 86 yards, averaging 43.0 yards per punt. He pinned the Chargers inside the 20 once and had his longest punt of the game at 53 yards.
