14 former Huskers saw action in the fourth week of the NFL season last weekend, with Dicaprio Bootle making his NFL debut with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
Andy Janovich scored on a two-point conversion in Cleveland’s 14-7 win at Minnesota while Ameer Abdullah had a two-yard reception and a 26-yard kickoff return for the Vikings in the loss.
On the defensive side, Lavonte David tallied seven tackles, one tackle for loss and a pass deflection while playing every defensive snap for Tampa Bay at New England on Sunday night. Randy Gregory posted three tackles, two sacks and two tackles for loss while playing 37 defensive snaps for Dallas in the Cowboys’ 36-28 win vs. Carolina.
On special teams, Sam Koch punted a season-high seven times for a total of 335 yards, averaging 47.9 yards per punt. He pinned the Broncos inside the 20 once and had his longest punt of the game at 57 yards.
