Nick Gates (Giants) highlighted the Huskers in the NFL offensively in Week 12. Gates started at center and played every offensive snap for the Giants, helping them earn 386 total yards.
Defensively, teammates Lavonte David and Ndamukong Suh (Buccaneers) were the top Blackshirts over the weekend. David started at inside linebacker and recorded eight tackles, and Suh contributed an additional five. Randy Gregory (Cowboys) also had two sacks on Thanksgiving against the Washington Football Team.
On special teams, Sam Koch led the way, punting seven times for a 45-yard average for the Baltimore Ravens. His longest punt of the day was 58 yards and three of his punts were downed inside the Pittsburgh 20-yard line.
