Three former Huskers saw action in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs last weekend, with Lavonte David and Ndamukong Suh pacing the Tampa Bay defense and Zac Taylor leading the Bengals at Tennessee.

Taylor earned his second career playoff victory as a head coach in Cincinnati’s 19-16 win at Tennessee.

David and Suh led the Buccaneers in Sunday’s loss vs. Los Angeles. David had his fourth game of the season with double-digit tackles, recording 11 tackles, a tackle for loss and fumble recovery. Suh tallied six tackles, 0.5 sacks, a forced fumble and fourth quarterback hurries.

Suh and David combined with a strip and recovery of a fumble with 2:30 left that set up the game-tying drive, before the Rams responded with a game-winning field goal as time expired.

With Taylor and Stanley Morgan Jr. in the AFC Championship Game for the Bengals and Dicaprio Bootle representing Kansas City, the Huskers are guaranteed to be represented in the Super Bowl for the 28th time in the last 30 years.

The AFC Championship Game between the Bengals and Chiefs is scheduled for 2 p.m. on CBS, while the 49ers and Rams are set for a 5:30 p.m. start on Fox in the NFC Championship Game.
