Penn State Walks Off Nebraska 8-7

Huskers four errors fatal in defeat

Penn State walked off with a win Thursday night defeating Nebraska 8-7. Nebraska had four errors and Chad Luensmann had a blowup in the ninth for the Huskers.

Nebraska jumped out in the first inning thanks to the return of Jake Meyers. Meyers led off the game with a home run pulled to left field for his first of the season to give the Huskers an early lead.

Jake Hohensee would take the mound in the bottom half of the inning and looked shaky. A single, stolen base, and a second single tied the game for Penn State. Willie Burger would then launch a two run shot over the fence to put Penn State up 3-1.
