Palmer Invited to G League Elite Camp

James Palmer Jr. is one of 40 players that received an invite to the NBA G League’s Elite Camp which will be held next week, according to a press release. If he performs well there, he could receive an invite to the NBA Combine in Chicago, where he would join fellow Husker Isaiah Roby.

This past season, Palmer set school records at NU for most points scored in a single season with 708. He also set the single season school record for minutes played, at 1,269. Palmer averaged 19.7 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3 assists per game.

He was a third team selection in the All-Big 10 team and a first team All-District pick by the USBWA. Palmer played for the Huskers for two years, where he had transferred to from Miami.
