The #16 Nebraska wrestling team (1-2, 0-0 Big Ten) will travel to South Dakota on Sunday to face #18 SDSU. Action is slated to begin at 2 p.m. (CT), with a live stream available on Flowrestling (subscription required).
Competition will be fierce as six of 10 bouts potentially feature matchups between ranked wrestlers. Eight Huskers enter the weekend ranked, including returning All-Americans No. 2 Peyton Robb (157) and No. 2 Mikey Labriola (174). The All-American duo boasts an undefeated dual meet record (6-0) and has scored 21 dual meet points for the Big Red this season.
Nebraska and South Dakota State meet for the 34th time in series history on Sunday. The Huskers lead the all-time series 17-14-2 and have won the last 10 matchups. In the last meeting between the two teams, Nebraska earned a 36-6 victory as NU won nine of 10 bouts.
Last Time Out: Three Huskers claimed individual titles and the Nebraska wrestling team won its third-straight and fifth overall Cliff Keen title on Saturday night at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Hardy (141), Robb (157) and Labriola (174) all finished atop their weight classes as NU amassed 137.5 team points, the most among the 33 schools competing.
