The Nebraska soccer team returns home this week for matches against Iowa and Wisconsin at Hibner Stadium.
The Huskers (4-8-2, 0-4-2 Big Ten) and Hawkeyes (8-5-1, 2-4-0 Big Ten) square off Thursday, starting at 7:05 p.m. (CT). The first 275 fans in attendance will receive a free student section shirt.
NU battles Wisconsin (7-3-4, 2-2-2 Big Ten) on Sunday, beginning at 1:05 p.m. (CT). It is senior day at Hibner Stadium and the 11 seniors will be honored before the game and at halftime.

Last Time Out
The Huskers outshot No. 16 Michigan 21-10 including a 13-6 lead in shots on goal but fell 3-2 to the Wolverines on Sunday at Hibner.
Next Up
After this week’s home stand, Nebraska will hit the road and face Illinois and Minnesota to close out regular season play.
Quick Notes
• Sophomore Reagan Raabe recorded one assist and two shots in Sunday’s matchup against Michigan. She continues to lead the Huskers on the offensive side as she has six goals on the season and currently sits ninth in goals scored in the Big Ten standings.
• Freshman Sarah Weber has recorded two goals and two assists on the year and currently sits 10th in total shots and third in shots on goal in the Big Ten standings.
• Sophomore goalkeeper Sami Hauk made her 10th start of the season against Michigan and now ranks ninth in total saves and third in saves per game in the Big Ten standings.
• Freshman Abbey Schwarz recorded three points on Sunday as she scored a goal in the first half off an assist from Raabe and dished out an assist in the second half on Eleanor Dale’s goal.
• Seven of NU’s 11 freshman have seen the pitch so far this year. The Huskers started Jordan Zade and Weber against Michigan.
Scouting the Iowa Hawkeyes
• Iowa is 8-5-1 overall with a 2-4-0 record in Big Ten play. The Hawkeyes enter the week with four losses in their last five games.
• Nebraska leads the all-time series against Iowa, 11-2-1, dating back to the first meeting between the schools in 2003. The Huskers defeated the Hawkeyes last season in Lincoln, 2-1.
• Head Coach Dave Dilanni is 68-57-9 in his eighth season at Iowa. Dilanni is assisted by Blair Quinn, Katelyn Longino and Drago Ceranic.
• Players to Watch
- No. 11 Alyssa Walker (Senior Forward): Team-high six goals and 12 points
- No. 2 Hailey Rydberg (Senior Midfielder): Tied for the team-high with six assists
- No. 28 Monica Wilhelm (Redshirt Junior Goalkeeper): Has played every minute in goal this season, earning 52 saves and five shutouts
Scouting the Wisconsin Badgers
• Wisconsin is 7-3-4 this season with a 2-2-2 record in Big Ten play. The Badgers are coming off a 1-1 tie at Illinois.
• The Badgers face Northwestern in Evanston, Ill., on Thursday night before its matchup against Nebraska on Sunday.
• The all-time series against Wisconsin is tied, 5-5-3, dating back to 1994. Last season’s game resulted in a 0-0 tie.
• Head Coach Paula Wilkins is 158-84-40 in her 15th season at Wisconsin. She is 277-103-52 overall. Wilkins is assisted by Tim Rosenfeld, Marisa Kresge and Jon Gulrajani.

Huskers Celebrating 28th Season in 2021
• The Nebraska soccer program is in its 28th year since the inaugural campaign in 1994. Head Coach John Walker has been at the helm of the team since its inception, guiding the Huskers to more than 330 all-time victories.
• Nebraska has made 12 NCAA Tournament appearances in its first 27 seasons, including two trips to the Elite Eight and eight Sweet 16 berths.
• The Huskers have captured four conference regular-season titles and six conference tournament crowns. As a member of the Big 12, NU won the regular-season championship in 1996, 1999 and 2000, while winning the tournament title in 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2002. Nebraska joined the Big Ten in 2011 and two seasons later, swept the regular-season and tournament crowns.
