North Carolina Central laid out the blueprint on how to win against Shedeur Sanders

Shedeur with Jackson State went 30 for 40 with 4 touchdowns. It didn’t matter. The opposing team, North Carolina, ran it 67% of the time, going for 276 yards, 6.3 ypc. The time of possession difference was 38 minutes to 21. Despite the high passing %, Shedeur looked to be in more and more of a funk as the game went on, being limited to only 8.6 yards per pass.

By comparison, TCU last week ran it only 46% of the time, with 25 minutes of possession compared to Colorado’s 34 minutes. Shedeur Sanders was able to get a slightly better 10.9 yards per pass against TCU.

I know I’m not the first to say this. The keys to a Husker win on Saturday are pretty simple: run the ball, control the clock, and limit big plays. That’s it.
