The largest crowd that the Buffs have faced while under Sander’s tenure was against UCLA last year with 72,000 fans. Still a relatively quiet crowd for 70k people because of how the Rose Bowl is built (it’s a more “open” design than Memorial).

Meanwhile, Memorial Stadium holds just over 85,000 people and I would be shocked if we don’t exceed capacity tomorrow night. This will be, to date, the largest and arguably loudest crowd that Sander’s Buffs have faced. This past week, CU has resorted to practicing with speakers that play crowd noises and our fight song, however, I think they are grossly underestimating how loud Memorial gets at night (especially for such esteemed guests as the team from the west).

Will be exciting to see how we, the crowd, can impact Colorado’s game. GBR!
