No Season Tickets For Nebrasketball

The Nebraska athletic department has given us an update on the current status of this upcoming years basketball season. Right now, they have decided that there will be no season tickets for the 2020-21 season. All tickets sold for games will be done on a single game basis. Season ticket holders will have first choice. That is, as they even admit, if fans are even permitted.

Like football tickets this season, season ticket holders will have the option of converting their 2020-21 basketball donation into a credit for the 2021-22 season. Ten bonus points will be added to the donor for selecting this option. You can also donate it to the Day by Day Fund and receive 25 points. If neither of those options are of interest then you can receive a full refund. No matter what you chose, your status as a ticket holder will not change.

The Day by Day fund has been established to offset the financial losses that the athletic department has been impacted by due to COVID-19. I am not aware of how much that fund is at this moment or how much of it has been used.

As of now we do not know how many games or what games the Huskers will be playing at this time. We should know soon as the season is set for tipoff in the next few weeks. We are also waiting on more information on the Golden Window Tournament that will be taking place in Lincoln before the conference season starts. The ACC will be announcing their schedule next week so hopefully the Big Ten is not far behind.
