If you guys have read things I’ve previously posted, you know I’m usually a Huskers optimist. But today its something a little more pessimistic. Today marks 5 years since Nebraska last beat an AP Top 25 team. Its been almost 6 since the Huskers last knocked off a Top 10 team starting an off an impressive 10 wins in 11 game stretch over two season. And the last time Nebraska beat a top 5 team? It took a catch from a Heisman winning QB on a trick play to beat Oklahoma in 2001. All three of those clocks could be reset on Saturday. Nebraska really needs to reset at least one of those timers at some point in 2021
