Huskers fans get ready! Tickets for the upcoming Nebraska volleyball spring match against Denver in Kearney are set to go on sale on Tuesday, April 2 at 10 a.m. The match is scheduled for May 4 at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds.

Ticket options include $12 for upper-bowl bleacher seats and $25 for lower-bowl chairback seats, all on a general admission basis. Ticket purchases must be made in person with cash payment by individuals aged 16 and above. Each person is limited to a maximum of four tickets. Lost tickets will not be replaced, and tickets cannot be acquired through the Nebraska, KHS, or UNK athletic offices.

The highly-anticipated match between the Huskers and the Denver Pioneers will take place at UNK’s Health and Sports Center, kicking off at 2 p.m. with doors opening at 12:30 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to get autographs from the players after the match.

This year marks the first time the spring match will be held at UNK’s 5,000-seat Health and Sports Center, with Kearney Public Schools serving as the main event host in collaboration with Nebraska Athletics, UNK, and the Kearney Visitors Bureau.

Fans who can’t make it to the venue need not worry, as the match will be broadcasted live statewide on Nebraska Public Media and streamed online on B1G+. The action-packed game will also be aired on select Huskers Radio Network stations and the official Huskers App.

This event is part of Nebraska’s longstanding tradition of touring the state for spring volleyball matches. Since 2007, the Huskers have played in various cities including North Platte, Scottsbluff, Grand Island, Norfolk, Wayne, Ogallala, Kearney, and McCook, to engage with fans and showcase their talent beyond Lincoln.
