Nebraska Still Winless on Road in Conference after Loss at No. 20 Maryland

Every time the Huskers made a run, the Terrapins were there to answer.

After No. 20 Maryland(13-4, 4-2 Big Ten) closed the gap slightly, they broke it wide open with a 16-2 run. The Terrapins shot 70.6-percent in the first quarter.

The Husker made all three of their three-point attempts in the second quarter, but only managed to play the Terrapins even for the quarter as Maryland led 43-34 at the half.

Each of the second half runs for Nebraska were again answered, including Maryland closing the game on a 19-9 run to take the game 87-69.

Maryland took advantage of 20 turnovers that turned into 29 points. The Terrapins also scored 46 points in the paint while shooting 51.5-percent from the field for the game.
