Nebraska Spring Game Sold Out

After only 26 hours, Nebraska’s spring football game has sold out.

Nebraska announced Wednesday that all tickets were gone for the April 21 scrimmage at Memorial Stadium, which seats over 90,000 spectators. Season-ticket holders were allowed to begin buying tickets on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m., and about 60,000 were sold in seven hours. Tickets for the general public went on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m., and they were all sold within 90 minutes.

Tickets are still for sale on some secondary ticket sale websites. Some seats were going as high as $699 on StubHub.

Nebraska traditionally draws some of the biggest crowds in the nation for spring games. This year’s attendance will shatter the Nebraska record of 80,149 for Bo Pelini’s first spring game in 2008.

The scrimmage kicks off at 11 a.m.
