I just got an email regarding season tickets. The summary is they are conducting a poll of who wants to come to games this year. They are expecting reduced capacity, with recommendations coming later this month. Capacity will be known no less than 2 weeks prior to our first home game.
You have the option to roll your tickets into next year without penalty. You also have the option of a full refund. I don’t see anything regarding seat donation.

Option 1. Donate to the Day by Day Fund:
Convert any previous or unused payments from 2020 Football season tickets and parking to the
Day by Day Fund. This fund will allow for Nebraska Athletics to apply donations to the areas of
greatest need during this extremely challenging time.
Choose:
o Receive 100% tax-deductible credit.
OR
o Receive donor priority points for full amount of the gift (not tax deductible).
Benefits for investing in the Day by Day Fund include:
o Select Option 1 by August 14th and receive 50 bonus priority points.
• Priority points are essential in the ticket allocation for high demand games, as seen in
2019 with Nebraska at Colorado, and are utilized for all ticketed sports.
o What will the additional priority points possibly mean?
• In the 2020 Football Seat Yourself process, an account with 100 priority points would
have moved up nearly 400 slots after receiving the 50 bonus priority points.
o Poster recognizing 50 year anniversary of 1970 National Champions,
autographed by members of the 1970 team.
o Exclusive invitation to a 2021 event celebrating the 1970 and 1971 National Championship
teams.
Under the CARES Act, taxpayers who take the standard deduction can nevertheless claim a
charitable deduction of up to $300 for cash donations in 2020. Please consult your tax advisor
to determine the tax treatment of all donations.
Option 2. Transfer payment to the 2021 Football season (default if no reply):
Apply any previous or unused 2020 payments towards 2021 Football season ticket payments.
During the 2021 Football season ticket renewal period, additional information will be
communicated regarding any remaining balance due, if applicable.
o Benefit for applying payment to 2021 Football Season:
• Select Option 2 by August 14th and receive 15 bonus priority points.

Refund of 2020 Football season ticket and parking payments. You will be invoiced as normal for
the 2021 Football season (December 2020).
