The start of the college football season is right around the corner, and with kickoff fast approaching, we are finally getting the first preseason polls of the year. Last week saw the release of the US LBM Coaches Poll and this week sees the release of the AP Poll.

Nebraska received two votes in the inaugural US LBM Coaches Poll. The Huskers also received votes in the Associated Press Poll.

The Georgia Bulldogs are ranked No. 1 with 46 of a possible 62 first-place votes. Ohio State is ranked No. 2, followed by Oregon at No. 3, Texas at No. 4, and Alabama at No. 5.
