Nebraska Loses 33-28 To Colorado – Post Game Overreaction

Scott Frost’s debut was ruined as Nebraska played sloppy and stupid at the worst time possible.

Colorado ruined Scott Frost’s debut as the Huskers lost to Colorado 33-28 Saturday afternoon in a game that had its share of twists and turns. Nebraska started the game giving Colorado a two-score 14-0 lead when they fumbled on their first two offensive drives.

The Huskers battled back and the rest of the first half was a one-sided, good old-fashioned Nebraska butt kicking. Nebraska’s offense racked up yardage, but Colorado remained within range, down 21-17 at the half.

The second half was a tale of twists. Nebraska’s offense stalled. Colorado’s offense found some rhythm. The teams traded fourth down tries multiple times at midfield, and the final 1:18 looked like this:
